Returns & Refunds Policy - Rooted in Tomorrow

  

At Rooted in Tomorrow, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. As we source products from a variety of suppliers, our return and refund policy are influenced by theirs. We've created this policy to be as fair and transparent as possible.

General Principles

  • We work hard to select suppliers with reasonable return policies.
  • We will always advocate for our customers with our suppliers.
  • Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

Returns

  • Timeframe: You have seven 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return, unless  our supplier's policy dictates a shorter timeframe. In such cases, the supplier's timeframe will apply, and this will be clearly stated on the product page.
  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
  • Process: To initiate a return, please contact us at, info@rootedintomorrow.co.uk or call 07553748058 with your order number and details about the product you wish to return. We will then need to check the specific supplier's  return policy for that item. We will provide you with instructions on where to send your return, which may be directly to the supplier.
  • Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a defective or damaged item (see below). In some cases, the supplier may cover return shipping; we will inform you of this after checking their policy.
  • Exemptions: Certain types of items are exempt from being returned, such as perishable goods, personalized items, and intimate or sanitary goods. Additionally, some suppliers may have further exemptions, which will be noted on the  product page where applicable.

Refunds

  • Processing: Once your return is received and inspected (either by us or our supplier), we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Approval: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within, 3-7 business days. The timing of the refund may depend on the supplier's processing times.
  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund  is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some  processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and  you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@rootedintomorrow.co.uk or 07553748058.

Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same  item, send us an email info@rootedintomorrow.co.uk or  07553748058. Exchanges are subject to the supplier's exchange policy.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately info@rootedintomorrow.co.uk or 07553748058, with your order number and photos of the damaged or defective item. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a  replacement or refund. We will follow the supplier's procedure for damaged or defective items, which may involve direct communication between you and the supplier.

Sale Items

  • Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated by the supplier.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled  within one-hour of placement, provided the supplier has not yet  processed the order. Please contact us immediately at info@rootedintomorrow.co.uk or 07553748058, if you wish to cancel your order. If the order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Transparency is Key

  • We will make every effort to clearly display any variations in return policies on the individual product pages. Look for a "Return Policy" section on each      product page.

  • Potential for Confusion: Be aware that this approach has the potential to confuse customers. Clear communication and easy access to information are essential to mitigate this.
  • Monitoring:  Regularly monitor customer feedback and return rates to identify any issues with specific suppliers' policies.
